Daily FMCSA data feeds

Every morning, the companies whose FMCSA record changed the day before (for the new carriers alone, see new carrier leads): new carriers and brokers, authorities granted and revoked, insurance filed and cancelled, phone numbers and addresses that changed. Four CSV files, with the company's name, numbers, contact details and fleet size on every row; one of them lists the liability policies renewing in 60 days.

New companies and authorities

Operating authorities granted, new USDOT registrations, and companies registered within the past year that appeared in FMCSA data that day; the authorities granted first, the newest USDOT numbers first.

Questions

Where does the data come from?

FMCSA's public files, downloaded daily and compared record by record (see data sources). A row says what the record said before and after; it is not a verdict about the company, and FMCSA's own systems remain the authority.

What can I use it for?

Your own business: underwriting, onboarding, risk review, marketing to the companies listed. The data is public, but the file is for your company's use, not for resale or republication. Calls, texts and emails you send are your responsibility under the laws that apply to them (such as the TCPA and CAN-SPAM in the United States). The terms of use set this out.

Do you have company email addresses?

Yes, in the feeds: the email column holds the business email the company filed with FMCSA, where there is one. We do not show it on the site. Mail you send is yours to keep within the CAN-SPAM Act.

Can I get only my states?

Yes. In your account, filter any file by states, fleet size, event and contact, and download it as Excel or CSV; the morning email follows the filters you save. Scripts add &st=TX,OK to a file's link.

Can I get just one feed, or an API?

New carrier leads ($99/month) is the new carriers file with the insurance renewals and lapses, in every state; One state ($49/month) is the same two files for one state. For another single feed, write to support@haulercheck.com. The links already work as an API: one URL per feed and date, with your key.

How does the trial work?

You enter a card at checkout and get the files for 7 days free. The card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then from your account, with nothing to pay. One trial per account.

What does the free trial include?

Seven days with the newest file on the day you start and each morning's file after it, up to 20 downloads a day. Files from before the trial open with the first payment. One trial per customer.

Can I get a refund?

Not once a paid period has started: the free trial is the way to try a plan, and cancelling before it ends costs nothing. We refund billing errors, such as a double charge.
